Got a little worried today, after having a little raz the temp of my car was well high!!(Higher than normal....After a blast)
I remember a post on here about Warming up and warming down the car.......However couldn,t remember what it said!!
DOH.....
Whats the right/best thing to do for the car(M400)?

Just to add that it's well worth leaving the engine running for a couple of minutes after a "blast" so that the turbos get a chance to cool down .. www.nobleforums.com/showthread.php?t=1983 (the red bit in the middle of the pic is the rear turbo glowing).

Oil Anything between 80-120, 120 after a hard and sustained blast.
Should return to below 100 fairly quickly once you have slowed the pace down a bit.

I must drive like a complete woos as I've never managed to get the oil temperature to above 95 or so....even in the summer!
