Wing mirror parts

Someone was selling the parts for wing mirrors on here a while back, but can't find them. Does anyone still sell them as the metal turret and plate inside the drivers mirror has been snapped on mine.

I think the wing mirrors were off a VW Passat? Someone will doubtless correct me if I'm wrong.

So these are easy parts to replace - should I need one. I imagine painting to match is the big cost

I've just won a complete mirror off, it's the wrong side but needed the surround off that one anyway. If the turret section can be swapped over I may gat away with using the old plate section it bolts too.

I was quoted £100 each mirror to remove, spray and replace by the guys who have my car in for rear end replacement at the mo... so i am living with the stonchips

Jesus thats a piss take..... the spray gun etc will be already in use for that colour so no additional cleaning required.

Aye, a tad steep I thought also... think he quoted me £700 for the front end blowin, which included taking out the light pods and resealing, and £1200 for the whole car, less the rear end which they are doing anyways. Dont know if this included the shuts or not as I didn't take it any further.
