The general rule is an extra 2 or 3 psi all round, but its personal preference. Suck it and see. They should be harder, rather than softer.

ok, but anyone know what they should be anyway? any recommendations? same all round or more at the back? I'm guessing something like 30 rear 28 front..

The bridgestones should be at 22 or 24 for normal road use (well on mine they were as per hand book) The rears (goodyear) should be 24 or 26 as per handbook like mine was for road use. so therefore running 22f/24r or 24f/26r if you get my point! Then for track add 2psi for both front and rear.

I think you will find 30 will be overinflated making it a very hard ride and make the handling very twichy, but you may like that. IMHO and personal preference, with your makes of tyre, I would go for 24/26 conbo first and see what you think.

Hope that helps more!

2 - 3 psi above normal (22/24) is a good place to start, then take the pressures when you come in after your first session. Depending on how hard you've been driving they'll probably be up to 30 ish so you can then let some air out again. I tend to keep mine in the high 20's and keep an eye on the pressures during the day. If you just put more air in at the start of a hot day (admittedly not likely at this time of year! ) your tyres will end up like balloons!

Presumably the wheel sizes are because you can't get 17" spiders...

nope. it was just like that when Neill had it and they look very nice. there's a pic on my profile page. had to mess with tyre size and shocks to get the right clearance in the arches but it was worth the hassle IMO.
