words can't describe how i feel ... i wait bloody years to get one of these cars .. i have it for no longer than 2 months, put a new clutch in it, wash it, care for it, replace every fluid possible, drive it just a little bit and now i have to sell it.

Personal reasons (which i'd rather not go into on here) dictate i have to sell so i'll shortly be putting up my beautiful 96 P plate 4.2 monster for sale over the next couple of days once i've taken some pics etc ..

mark my words chaps I WILL be back in another cerbera before the end of this year .. i've not even had the chance to enjoy mine yet.

very very very sad day.

god no .. i love it to bits .. clutch went after 10 days of ownership which was a bit of a bugger but hey ! .. i loved changing all the fluids, i love washing it .. its my baby

I know the feeling. I have got to sell mine soon - house purchase !
Had the engine rebuilt by APM recently, got him to change the throttle pots, leads etc.... The car runs like a dream! No lumpiness at 2K revs. Pulls so cleanly etc etc..... Cant believe I spend tons geting the car perfect and then I have to sell. Hey ho - at least it is nice to know your car is pretty perfect before selling it.

if its a 4.5, get it mapped... it makes the whole driving experience at low revs massively better, and of course also pumps up the power all across the range, which is nice.

The lumpiness is I believe a mix of the mapping and the throttle pots set up.
Mine has a Red Rose chip that smooths it a lot plus new throttle pots. Virtually no lumpiness. It just pulls like a train from zero to hero.

Power to weight ratio count's surely. Us smaller drivers with our 4.2's will have the same as you more 'stoutly' gentlemen with your 4.5's

im gutted for you brooksie you were so full of the joys of cerbera ownership i remember your excitement waiting to pick it up so sad you have to sell her,anyway stay on phers and keep us updated and i hope you do get one again before the end of the year

you won't be as gutted as when you realise there seems to be a glut out there (mine included) and they are going for very little money...

Not a good situation...i've lost over 12k in 2 years...
