Has anyone upgraded to the Leven wipers with the integral pipework? Are they worth the cash is basically the question....

It was well worth the cash outlay IMHO

teacher Be careful Don, thats how addictions start.
Next it will be the steering column stalks, then the handbrake, then the shiny surounds for the front screen vents, then...

But seriously, you should find that the Leven wipers stay on the screen and do their job so much better.

I fitted the wipers a few weeks ago and would definitely recommend them. I also used some rain-away and its made driving in wet weather a bit less scarey

E2DJH, I know... it's terrible. I haven't even picked up the car, and I'm already looking at things to do on it! I've even written out everything I want to do to it, priced it, and graded it in order I want to get. It's going to be a monthly thing... saving a little every time, and putting an order in I feel..... It's the only way!

Cheers all with your word of praise for the wipers. Good to know.

Ahh, it seems like it is too late. Another one lost

Good luck with the collection of your new baby, and enjoy the car. Post pictures as soon as posible (is it one of the fast blue ones?)

Can someone post a link to these wipers here - to the Leven (or any other) site please.??

I've looked but can't find them.

Anyone have any pics of these wipers on their Chimaera, and how much are they.?

Cheers guys,

Nick

Better late than never.

Highly recommend them. Fitted them to my first Chimaera and they were the first thing I fitted to my second one.

Was told (by Leven) that I couldn't buy them for my W (2000) Reg Chimaera because the later cars have a different attachment setup?? They did say that they were working on it.

Hi Chauch, how's it going?
I eventually managed to get on to Castle Combe this week with the Cherry Bombs - but i started at 107db yikes
It took an insert silencer and an external muffler to get it below 100db, but now i have cracked it track days are back on the agenda. driving

Hi E2DJH,

Perish the thought -what's the point of having a British sports car if it's not..... green!

I can echo the above positives - FWIW just be careful cutting the pipes too short, better to keep them long and reduce them than cut too much off first time as they do expand as teh wiper clears the screen.

Good tip! I can imagine it's far easier to slowly trim down the length than go the other way....
