If you thought Tuesdays spotted pics were good look at this

Hi there,
I posted some pics on Tuesday of an XJ220 I had seen parked on a side street in Stoke on Trent.
Well I was in Stoke again today and decided to drive past the same place again to see if it was still there.
I turned the corner and nearly crashed my car when I saw what was parked there today.
I had to get out of my car and have a closer look.
3 XJ220's in the same place and was especially chuffed to have seen the Yellow XJ220S.
As I got back in my car and drove away I noticed something else parked up a side street next to the building: -
This is an original Jaguar XJR12 that competed at Le Mans in 1990.
I have since found out that this building is actually home to Don Law Racing a company that services and repairs about 70% of the XJ220's in existence.
What a day after this I had to go home and lie down in a dark room.
Hope you enjoy the pics.
Regards
Tim

I think if I had a car like that, and gave it to the God that is Don Law, I wouldn't really care what he did with it, because everything he touches is gold.
The man is a legend, and I am not surprised to see the streets around him stuufed with toys like this.
XJ220s get shipped from around the world just so Don can work his magic.
Good to see he is busy.
Ruttboy.

What he said - competition is best for the consumer
Really glad that people do take the time to post up pics like these. The XJ220 besides all it's woes (not that I'd know!! - just whats I've read) is still a beautiful and wonderful car and was part of a very exciting era in my eyes of supercar history, along with the F40/Mac F1/Diablo etc... They all seemed to come along at a similar time. Probably why if I had unlimited funds, they'd all be in my garage!
Thanks for sharing.

I was all ready to announce that I'd like the blue one, please. Then I got to the last few...Best Spotted Ever.

Thanks for posting

I've adored the old Silk Cut Group C race cars since I was a lad. I went to see a friend/customer of mine a couple of years ago, he asked if I would like a look around his workshop; where in a smaller workshop out the back was the unmistakable shape of two of them under 'Silk Cut' purple car covers. Unfortantley they were engineless but I sat in one of them, door closed. Just trying to rememeber the incar footage I'd watched dozens of times on video from the very seat I was in now.
I get to see and drive some mega cars on a daily basis, but that was by far my highlight of the last few years - A real 'meet your heros' moment for me.
