As the title suggests, I have a nipper on the way and the Mrs very kindly suggested I look into getting another car seat for the Pork, so as we dont have to 'miss out on still using it'... Good girl!!!

So, any ideas what will and wont fit, or anyone got one that they've finished with that they want shot of (for an appropriate sum obviously )

Cheers

If you child is over 1 year old, the Porsche Prince child seat was designed to fit in the rear of 911's. Porsche no longer sell this seat so try ebay

Initially you`ll need a rear facing seat which will probably only go in the front seat.

A good contact point for child seats / seatbelt restraints is quickfit (not the exhaust people) in Stanmore. Tel 0208 206 0101.

They not only supply child seats but can also modify or retro-fit seatbelts in the back of older cars to accomodate child restraints. They have a lot of experience with Porsches. Tell them we sent you.

Hi Henry,

Thats very good advice and thanks for the tip but sadly from here in Belgium thats not the handiest place to just nip to for me...

My 3.2 has the belts in the back which work fine for restraining small adults and kids, but I was hoping to find a useable make/model that I'd be likely to find universally... This obviously isnt looking too likely... Having looked on e-bay too the prices seem quite keen for something which you couldnt reasonably prove hasnt been either involved in a car accident previously, or been stored in a damp garage/shed for the last couple of years...

Back to the drawing board...

Cheers
