EK lights - crap?

Any other 95-00 owners want to comment on their lights?

I've updated the bulbs to osram +50% jobbies and they're still crap, frankly. When dipped you can't see a thing, when on high they're ok but the distance just isn't there.

The cover is plastic and it looks like there's a layer peeling off. The plastic seems clear enough and not cloudy though. What's the best way of cleaning plastic headlights? Might have something to do at the weekend then .

My brother had the same thing on his FTO, try a finishing compound to get rid of it. I think he wet and dried it very lightly, then the finishing compound to get the clear finish again. Do this over and over until crystal clear.


Either that or fit a HID kit to the car.
