I'm looking for the most accurate piece of kit that provides the very best detection. Preferably wire free so it looks very neat and tidy.

I'm interested in Radar, Laser & GPS methods, be they bolt-ons or not. I'm also quite happy to have Sat Nav built in.

I've currently got an S6R Neo which was ok but I let the updates expire and it is very cumbersome.

I'm looking to buy tomorrow so no rush LOL!

Cheers,

David

I'm looking for a new one too; I currently have a Road Angel Plus - which worked well for GPS locations and it looks good but it went faulty after only 3 weeks - it doesn't charge anymore so I need to use it with wires; I'm looking for a wire free one again.

Considering the Road Angel Plus again, but would rather try something else - ideally something discreet!

Probably not a lot of help, sorry!

I am not sure that wireless technology is yet available for this type of unit. How would the sensors be powered if wireless and what frequency would the signal be based around? I am sorry to say that at the moment you need a hard wired unit for decent protection with exterior sensors. Road Angel etc can be powered by battery but are only really suitable for GPS based detection, not laser.

Easy enough to get 12v to the unit behind the grille but running wires through the bulkhead cleanly is the hassle, hence is there any wireless units. I guess not then so might have to get one proffesionally fitted.

How is the Origin B2 better than the Tom Tom database?
