James, I didn't think anyone could see that reg

If we're both talking about the same photo then the car will be familar to you as it's local to you and has been to Kimbolton for the last couple of years at least

Looking for above I've just noticed that one of the photos shows (if you look hard) my P6, as well as the Honda and Glenn's Chim and Simon's Alpina roadster

PS notice who's got the shiney smile

this is the Wedge in question

i do know that Wedge, we followed it down the southbound A1 outside Buckden last summer (didn't keep up though, he was booting it along!) i too have seen it at Kimbolton pretty much every year as well. nice looking example (early Series 1 350i?)
i didn't know it was local though!

i did notice the shiny smile too!
would be a nice feature if those pictures on the webpage were clickable for a bigger view maybe?!

James, that's a Tasmin 290 local to you

I don't think we have tha capacity for too many photos or bigger view, sorry, bear in mind (no pun intended) the site is to promote the club and it's activities

For those that don't know we raise money for children's charites in the UK

thank you Nigel i look forward to them!

funny enough i had a suspicion it might be a 280i. most Wedges usually have a model enscription/name on the back of them, this one just has Tasmin accross the back of it. the bonnet's a proper 280 bonnet too but some of the early/federalized 350i's had a similar bonnet arrangement too.
when i saw it on the A1 it sounded very V8 like! (lovely guttural roar! i assume its probably had its pipes played with or its fitted with a stainless system)
i shall be keeping an eye out for it again!
cheers!

Nice pictures Nigel, did you do the website? I'll probably be popping along to one of these events with some hard earned this year, see what I can get a ride in.

No, I would have it looking different if I did, but as I have no technical or artistic abilities I don't know how I'd achieve that look !

Surely your dad wouldn't charge you for the lift laugh

You would be most welcome

On another note, some MKers are coming over to the Potbelly brewery next Friday and as I've paid in advance for meal and transport I'll be there, I'll take some photos for you

Nice pics Nigel, I see you went for my arty shot of Simons old 348.
Also noticed what looks like a grinning Hills sitting in the Diablo.

Does that wedge belong to an older guy? Pretty certain I saw it having some work done over at Sebring a few months ago, Matt mentioned it belonged to a St Neots guy.

On a side note I mailed Boo last night on the new address you gave me so hopefully should find out soon if my car is accepted for the rides.

Tony, great arty shot, the Diablo shot looks like a kid in a sweet shop

You're right on both counts about the Wedge

You'll be in Tony don't worry about that, Boo's very busy at the moment with work ()

See you there
