What fuel line

Eyup,

My banana of a mate (no, not you Simon, don't go running off to the docs complaining of short term memory loss just yet) managed to slightly pinch the hard fuel line by the back wishbone when he decided he'd test the bushes for me
It may not be a big deal but I think I'll replace it anyway.
Do I have to buy this as a 'part' or is it just copper/brass pipe of some description?

I reckon its just copper too, thats how come I spotted it because he'd rubbed all the guck off it and left a shiny mark.
What do you reckon then - B&Q or Halfords or Plumbing Co or something else?

Brake lines would normally be copper or cunifer, but I've got the idea that there's some reason this isn't recommended for fuel lines - maybe some electrolytic reaction with the steel pump? Still, if the original lines are copper I guess it must be OK.

Deffinatly copper, either 3/8 or 10mm (samething really!!) just refitting mine!!!

Im not sure that Steal would react with the copper, now if it was Ali then yes it would

It's copper. IIRC it's 6mm or 8mm diameter.

I have some spare as I'm replacing all my fuel lines with -6AN stuff from SpeedFlow when I start reassembing the chassis. The snag will be getting it sent.
