Ha! got mine back (six weeks or so and its been stuck in Coventry), new tyre's go on today after me puncture and just polishing up the hooligan hat in anticipation

bolts shear off and you gotta drill 'em out.

have been told i need to open the holes out to get them to fit,a chap near to me is breaking a griff so i am having them, he has given me a price just waiting to see if he sticks to it.
Right, Re-fitted the re-veneered dash, f***ing last nut is a swine, got a good GRP rash now. Finally got it in by laying upside down in passenger footwell .
Cleaned up connectors on oil pressure sender, finally got gauge working, 40lbs on tickover, 60 when running, chuffed.
Then helicoiled the knackered exhuast stud on the LH manifold, finally got it nice and tight.
Also stuck some loose carpet down, re stuck the velcro on the hood, and stuck some of the rubber seals back on the hood where they were coming adrift.
Then fitted a new coil (Had it a while, but the bl00dy nuts were seized in the inner wing.
In between taking number 3 daughter to the stables, walking the dog, fitting new door locks for number 1 daughter, fixing cousins new Vista (cr4p) PC....

What do you use to stick the velcro back ? everything I try last about a week.

I have done this too - using sticky back velcro.
Any contact adhesive should work fine though - as long as you ensure you throughly de-grease and key any surface you are going to apply glue to.

I used the everbuild spray from screwfix.
