Someone put some pictures on here a while ago of his white 911 with Le Mans decals on it. Looked great so I was just wondering what my white 944 would look like if done the same. Anyone got a any picture ?
I've never been so I asked the wife if I could go and leave her at home with the two little bundles of joy nono so not this year then.........

I'd say it would look fantastic with some Martini stripes on it. I'm sure someone will have a picture somewhere. Best I could find on short notice wa on a 924.

Best bet is tell the wife you're going to trade the 944 for a newer, more expensive Porsche if she won't let you go.

Or get a new wife that is into 'basic' camping and motor racing.

You have GOT to do Le Mans.....

butzi - Boy are you brave - Are you/wife LM virgins or do you know what to expect....

I've done the annual treck every year since 1991 (Johnny Herbert - Mazda - So loud you could follow it around the circuit!)

Now I marshall it in between Arnarge and Porsche Curves. One benefit is I get to do a couple of laps of the circuit on Saturday am - Full laps not just the road sections

In a 993tt tank

Yeh, been there a few yrs ago, know what it's like! It'll be, well, ahhemm, interesting.....
Got another 911 mate coming with wife and 2 kids, as well as quite a few 911's in the group, so we're not alone.

butzi - Interesting indeed...

Don't know if you're aware bur PCGB now have a campsite on the outside of Porsche Curves - We popped in last year for a chat with Porsche minded people.

I quite like the bit about "to make life easier for people who have no sign fitting experience" I bet there's been some quality jobs done with these decals down the years.

911wise leans back in chair and gets a shiver run down his spine as he thinks about some of the hashes that people have made doing this!

As far as I'm aware it's fully booked. was on the PCGB site last year and it was great, but too far away from the village IMHO.

Very tempting those stickers. So what are they like to remove? Just had mine re-sprayed and have visions of peeling my shiny (but poss cheap) paint off! weeping
