Our kitten got run over last night and died in my arms. Not even MotoGP can cheer me up!! I don't fancy going for a ride to get it out of my head.

How on earth can you get so attached to animals?

Somebody in BB will be able to cheer me up!!

Anyone up for a trackday at Donington in June??

Thank you for the kind words, can't really explain how I feel. The house is empty.

She was very chatty. She used to wake us up every morning, didn't happen today. Wife is in bits and we still have to bury her.

MotoGP at 12.15 so will try and use that to take my mind off it all. Track day on 9th April is a godsend as I am thoroughly looking forward to it now.

I knew I could rely on BB.

Thanks again peeps.

Sorry to hear about your kitten.

We had to have our 17yr old ginger tom put to sleep in Nov last year. That was a week after the vet wanted.

Nothing wrong in feeling the way you do, shows you are a decent human being.

Me and the boys are booked at Donnington end of June.

Sorry to hear about the kitten.

A few months ago it looked like one of my cats had bought the farm. Completely destroyed and mangled by a passing lorry. I went out and scraped the poor bugger off the road, and washed down the street, only to then have my cat rub up against my legs. Phew!

Mate, gutted for you. I'm the biggest animal lover in the world, and I get pretty upset hearing about these things. Just keep thinking of the funny little moments you had, they should bring a smile back... still upsetting though, I know.

Keep ya Chin up.

Cheers.

Know how you feel. My wife is an animal lover, and ran over her own cat! For some inexplicable reason it just ran into the road. I had to clean up the mess. It still gives me a chill even now.

Wow, I didnt think that I would get this amount of response from this post. The guys in the Lotus forum that I used to post in, hated cats (in general) as they used to sleep on the roof of the cars.

Every morning I used to wake up to a roof of ginger hair on the Elise!!

Today was a better day, back to work and a mountain of sh*ite and then to college (studying a Management Diploma Part Time) seems to have taken my mind off it.

Now, just need to start prepping the bike for 9th April.

Thanks again BB, you work wonders!

Smiler.

I know the feeling. We had a lovely black cat who shredded everybody except me. He used to sit on top of the Aprilia and watch me as I tinkered with it. He was knocked down.

My mum has his brother and he is just as petrol-headed. He watched me, fascinated, as I put new pads on my car at the weekend.

Just don't tell anybody outside BB that we go all goey over animals. They have this image of us as lazy-eyed psychos.
