my 996 pads and disks needed replacing a couple of months ago. I bought original Porsche items from Design911.com

the order arrived within 2 days. i think the total cost for four disks, the pads, the sensors and shims was £600 inclusive of VAT. My local spannerman fitted them for about 2 hours labour.

a bit different to the £2k my OPC wanted for the job

I didnt really look into performance pads/disks was i wanted the car to stay original as possible.
