Does anyone know what the max (makers!) RPM is for a 1999 919cc Honda Fireblade engine (CBR900RR-X)? I've got one in my Stuart Taylor pheonix, but I don't have the bike rev counter, so I don't know where the red line is.......... I'm trying to set up a rev limiter, the last owner didn't have one & blew up the previous engine by getting a bit over - enthusiastic!

My limiter on my RRW cuts in just shy of 12krpm

Just popped out and checked and the redline is at 11k though but the limiter is close to 12 and mine is standard.

Mine is an 893 'blade but my digidash implies that the rev limit is 11750. that's about the highest it's seen anyway when bouncing

Thanks for all the feedback folks, I reckon I'll set it at 11,000 same as the red line on Mikey G's - better safe than sorry!

Cheers,

John

11750 is definitely where the limiter cuts in
