I was wondering what modifications work best with the monaro. where should I start? At what point would I need to look at AP brakes? Are there any official mods I can get done at Vauxhall and not affect my warranty? Living in Northern Ireland I wouldn't normally have access to UK workshops and so I would want to get as much done here as possible. I would love to go the Super charger or turbo route but the funds won't be there.

Exhaust and remap and the ripshifter are good places to start. You don't need the AP brakes unless you go on track or are running silly power. A set of ceramic pads for the standard setup are more than sufficient.

I would suggest Catback, Remap and Ripshifter...Commonly refered to as "The Essentials"

Will give you much better throttle response, a deep V8 rumble (can be mutted either by fitting the center boxes or by purchasing the new switchable system) and the ripshifter will give a good possitive gear change (not like to porridge spoon that is OEM)

After that... How deep is your wallet

Who is best for the essentials? monkfish? does anyone else supply and fit such a broad range? will my warranty be invalidated if I make those changes?

Some vauxhall dealers will fit the wortec mods and will honor warranty with them. Picador and Greens specifically. Not sure on the rest.

As mentioned best starter mods are exhaust and tune. After that things start getting expensive.

The Wortec stuff is officially badged now so you won't lose your warranty. Greens and Picadors who understand these cars should have no problem, even if you strap a supercharger onto it!

Don't forget the Diesel conversion - The LS2 works well in diesel and it really boosts those MPG figures.
