Irish Petrolheads meet

Hi guys, a load us Irish Petrolheads has a mega meet today, there were three TVRs in attendance, mine and Ireland's Cerbs and Jerry Hendersons Chimaera.

Where was the meeting

Met in Kilworth, near Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, drove to Lismore, Co. Waterford where dinner was had, then to a place called The Vee where there are stunning views like this:



(Although, typically, it was only misty when photos were taken here, rest of the day was bright sun!)

Then to Clonmel, Co. Tipperary for coffee and goodbyes.

It was amusing that at one stage 'Ireland' mentioned to me that he drives around in 3rd gear a lot, as it pops more, and I agreed that I do too!

I think mine pops more than his though - and its a bit of an art getting the revs right when you come off the gas to make maximum bangs!

It was a great day and we all had a blast (except perhaps for Jerry in the Chimera who's shock broke on the top of the mountain pass and he and Jackie had a spin home with the AA).
