Got myself Ghost Recon 2 the other day for my 360. WTF is that control system all about with multiple button pushes and camera angles to get your squad to do anything? I'm still doing training missions but am seriously thinking of trading it in as I can't be doing with such a ridiculously complicated control system for what is basically just a shoot 'em up.

TBH I'd agree with Sharief - GoW was highly overrated. Looked OK, sounded OK, but the TV ad was better than the game.
It's a toss up (no pun intended) between "Dead or Alive: Beach Volleyball" and "Gears of War" for me.
The former because there is actually no gameplay once the appeal of the bouncing boobies have worn off and the latter because it just isn't my cup of tea - I'm more of a FPS (eg. Halo) guy.

I think we're getting some pretty silly answers here, either that or no-one has played anything, putting Gears of War in there is really just to incite an argument. Compared to the drivel that was the last Sonic game on the 360, which I downloaded the demo for, then promptly removed after 10 minutes, Gears is a masterpiece. So yes, sonic gets my vote.

I thought the title of the thread was "worst game you've played this year" and Gears of War is one of the worst games I'VE played this year because it wasn't my cup of tea and also I haven't played many games this year as I've been busy on other stuff.
If the thread title had been "worst game of the year" then I'd agree with you, but since the title is asking for personal opinion then I can't see how you can complain just because some people's personal opinions don't agree with yours.
