Been that Manek put on a lush Leven grill on my Chimaera before i had it, I want to show it off. So i want to move the number plate down so it's attached to the bodywork angled slightly towards the floor (May help with the f**king congestion charge too!!) In the style of Raceboys Chimaera (see link)

Has anyone done this?? Do i just drill holes into the bodywork and bolt the plate to it? Can i use a bog standard numberplate? Are there and issues with the plate flapping in the wind and working loose?? Cheers chaps!!

Ask raceboy! - I got a smaller plate and sat it at the bottom of the grille. I used std no. plate fixings with back plastic caps (used the same to fix the grille in place).

Pic is a bit dark but you can see what I mean.

Alternatively, Halfords do number plate brackets and adhesive pads.

Just get a smaller plate - I'm going to put a pic up off my plate I had on the back end of last summer when I can find it to take a pic of (it's THAT small)
