Took my S3 along to my local Inde. TVR garage...Horizon Motorsport at Cradley Heath for its annual MOT, handed Mike the proprieter a bag containing 2 new engine mounts, 1 new gearbox mount, and 1 speedo transducer with a request to please fit.
I also asked him to get the starter motor refurbed as that dull click instead of an engine firing into life is such a heart sink..especially when people are looking.
Picked it up this morning all done for £360.
I had the engine mounts done to stop the sump rubbing the anti roll bar.
The speedo transducer has brought the speedo back to life but it is erratic and not very accurate...my clever work mate suggested that it might be a dodgy 'Smicht Trigger'
Hmm..yeah ok.

Gotta get my speedo fixed soon, have dealt with the other issues so it can't avoid a six figure mileage for much longer 
I reckon I'm adrift about 3500 miles..which will show on the recorded MOT mileage...Alas! it doesn't do much for a cars provinence though...if I sell it..I will make it plain to any prospective buyers...hopefully they'll be swayed by all the other stuff I've done to it.
Today was a really great top down driving day..the best yet...
