Seeing Im a new owner ( he he ) ..
the car is running Michelin Sports but I think they are due for a new set
3 years old +
the car feels fine on these ! should I stick to them ?
Im going to be using the car on the road and keeping the car standard !

Cheers

by comparision Ive just driven my GT3 RS back from a snowing Nurburgring
and can now honestly say ... the GT2 is a better and more comfortable road car !
( but the RS is still one quick machine )

If the car feels fine with the tyres on it, then most definitely you need to change them. Can't be driving around on tyres that feel fine. Spend £1200 on a set of cups or something.

If you're happy with the HP, then take it to a cheapo chipping company, you know, someone who have about 0.00001% of the knowledge of the likes of RUF and get them to whack it up to 600hp.

And of course seeing as it is so comfortable and well behaved on the road, and that is where the car will be used, be sure to set it up with lots of camber and heavily track focused geo settings!

Plus don't forget to check your grammar "whats the best....."

Kiko and a few others would have everyone believe that RS Tuning & Alois Ruf are the only Porsche tuners in the universe, so who am I to disagree [LOL]

Tim - not so sure you're gonna get a lot of choice. I believe the GT2 is one of the only cars that uses a 315 section tyre(hence, they're expensive)..... Good luck...thumbup

I believe Toyo were expecting arrival of the 315 rears to suit GT2 they will be cost effective but not sure on grip compared to Michelin or Pirelli

I ran 888's on my GT2 and can highly recommend them.... much better grip and composure than the road biased standard tyres. They are well priced as well which is a huge bonus!

Talk to Steve at Simply Tyres, he's always had the best prices for me!
