Theres alot of choice out there, but one that has taken my eye is the Simota Carbon Fibre IK, now the full kit is around £250 but on ebay at the moment someones selling the carbon shroud saying that its universal fit....

Now could i fit this to my 182? and which cone filter could i get to fit within the shroud again theres a guy on ebay selling a

Cheers guys

btw, i'm not looking for a gain in power just something which make the engine note a bit more purposeful.

Also £250 for a bit more noise is a bit more than i want to spend considering i want to get next month a few carbon bits like the front splitter.

So the cheaper the kit the better

Simota twin charger is a bit cheaper IIRC, and although its open, it contains the tubing to take it away from its rather warm default location to a place nearer the battery which is much colder.

Should give a nice sound.

Other than that, what about a BMC CDA?

I had a pipercross viper on mine. Sounded really good, but i got rid because it was losing me power. I would say just get an itg panel filter. There was a very noticable power loss that i found with the viper sucking in warm air in the summer so i changed back to the airbox.

Sounds like he wants it for sound though, in which case a panel filter will only offer a negligible increase in sound. Agree its much better for power, as good as anything you can buy.

I'm looking for a compramise, dont wish to have something which sucks all the power out of a motor as its just plain counter productive... but want something with a bit more of a sound.

Cheers guys for the advice
