Cerbera 4.2 and 4.5 in Germany

I have a 1997 TVR Cerbera 4.2 and I have the software Easimap 5.5 which works fine with my car. A friend just bought a Cerbera 4.5 and I would like to know if the software works as well with a 4.5 Cerbera or does my frind need other software?.

When my friend starts his 4.5 cerbera the revs are at 1.000 per min and this is ok. but when the engine is warm the revs are at 1.800 to 2.000 per min and this is not ok.

Does anybody know what to do?

You are very lucky sir if it's the actual easimap software functioning.

People will pay good money to have a look at your ECU.

Hi !

Since i live in Sweden i have to do most of the work on my car by myself. I also have a friend with a Cerbera 4.5 LW 2000. I have helped him with his car to change throttle pots and tune the engine by using the TVR software.

For the ajp Cerb:s i think it is best to use the older software, all ajp software drivers aren´t with the newer version.
Read the .txt files the comes with the software, it gives you a lot of help on how to use the software.
There is a word document made by joolz where the tuning of the ajp is described, this document is helpfull when you setup the engine.

If the car is running rough and you have a loss of power then I think you'll find you've got a coil down!

Get your friend to check the 2 coil packs, they are in the centre 'V' of the engine.
