Hi there,

I have seen two types of sports seat, the 'proper' bucket ones with the JCW logo or the ones which are standard in the MINI GP, which bear the Reccaro logo.

The accesory booklet for the 1st gen MINI said:
JCW sports seat in Orginal Panther Black fabric - cost: £414 each

JCW sports seats in Original Panther Black leather - cost: £685 each

So thats £830 for them both in black fabric OR £1370 for them both in leather. I'm not quite sure which 'type' these are (there is no pic in the options book). They, as you can see, are expensive from the dealer and can be bought second hand occasionaly.

The 'proper' buckets sometimes come up for sale on E-Bay or the dedicated MINI forums such as www.mini2.com or www.miniaddiction.co.uk - allthough cant see any on there at the moment - keep checking though, because they get snapped up very quickly!!

Colour wise I'm not sure because I've only ever seen them in black for sale. Maybe someone can advise.

Hope that helps a little.

James.

Are the seats for an R53 or R56?

If its an R56 then look on Mini2 and there is a car on there with them fitted. Be prepared for a shock though... They look shit! Totally wrong in the car. As far as price then JCW garages will be able to give the cost.
