Anybody who owned this car still reading these boards? It had a personal plate when owned by previous, Colin M, I believe.
Would like some history as I have just bought it from Howard in Scarborough. No history whatsoever apart from oddometer reading from 1/3/96 at 32000mile and names of all prev owners from tvrcc records that Howard had obtained. Previous owners (first) names were
Neil H...Stephen M...Henry D... Colin M
So if anyone knows who they are, please pass on my contact details so I can try to fill the gaps.

Hi Jim, well I'm the previous owner Neil H. In fact there's still a pic of the 400 in my profile! Glad to hear the car is still on the road.
I sold it with loads of service documentation...can't believe that one of the inbetween owners hasn't passed it on, such a shame.
I was the 3rd owner and I owned her from about 1996-2001 I think. I can't remember the mileage when I sold the car...somewhere around 50k I think. I had my servicing done at Fernhurst, and the guy before me used the TVR Centre in Barnet. If you contact them maybe they can re-print service invoices for you if they still have them on record.
Hope she's still in good condition, she certainly was when I sold her.
Any questions you have I'll be glad to answer if I can remember.

Zings along and pops and bangs like the Shadowfax. Got 60800 on tonight. Seller had car two yeats and only did one oil change and that was by himself, no other servicing but he only did 400 miles. Hope to get response from other 4 owners through either here, TVRCC site or the club's own search, if they would be able to get addresses of previous owners.
Getting exciting now is the search. That black scoop is gone altogether from the front spoiler but car has everything else. Dash veneer around rev and speedo has inexplicably been painted matching matt brown. Will have to get that sorted soon. Will take to local all rounders I think for opinion on replacing those rear discs - God only knows how anyone could score them so deeply and not change pads, if not the discs themselves.
Dont worry. I intend to bring BlueII up to scratch in the coming months.

A little more info for you...the first owner was called Peter Berglas. He was a magician, who was even a minor TV celeb in his day. The car was first registered as G231YLH, and then Mr. Berglas put a private plate on it. When he sold it to Stephen M it was changed to G965BLD.
When I bought the car from Stephen M he was planning to move abroad, so I'm not sure where he is now. I eventually sold it to Henry D.
What else can I tell you....up until I sold her she had always been serviced annually. She had a new clutch whilst in my care and I had the wheels refurbed.

Nice One Neil. Henry sold it to Colin M who also had a private plate on it and then the guy I got it from, Howard in Scarborough, who had it since Feb 2005 and did only 400 miles in two years.
The docs lie somewhere with either Henry or Colin. Should be able to get addresses from TVRCC or DVLA.

Got onto 'Peter Berglas' on google, found no 'Peter' but got David Berglas, big time magician - I remember him as rather sinister looking, like the Majester out of Dr Who -who had 3 children, one of whom was Peter. Didnt say he was a magician but an educational equipment maker, so I found his firm and have sent an email. Also have asked the Club for some help.
