anyone know any good contacts for getting a reasonable price on the old clio cup michelin slicks and wets?

Are they the 15" ones? I seem to remember one of the teams base at/near Silverstone wanted £35/corner when we were panicking over tyres last October for the Birkett, I can try and find the details if they are the 15" ones you're after

If you speak to Yozzasport I believe they quite often have some (I think they buy them in bulk off the teams!)
