I have just bought a Gilera DNA as my first bike and I'm wondering if I can use sea foam in it. Its 49cc two stroke with a carb. Its only done 5000 miles and is in good condition but I have about 6 weeks until my 16th birthday so I want to get it running perfect. What Sea Foam shall I use (if any)? And where is it available.
Thanks in advance, Carl

I think you put it in the tank and it cleans all the carbon deposits from the engine. When it's used LOADS of white smoke comes out the back.

I'd sooner use petrol.

It is mixed with petrol. Why has this been moved? I know its for a bike but it includes cars as well.

Don't know many two stroke cars, and anyway, it's snake oil. Best way to decoke an engine without taking the head off is spray a small amount of water into the intake. Best clean ever. And it's free

Carl, take it from one who has spent many years not following this advice:

If it's not broke, don't with it! smash

I'm gonna leave it alone I think. I have just spent about 4 hours t-cutting and waxing it.
