350i Heater switch...

Hi Guys...

I posted this before but I am still on the look out for a 350i heater switch if anyone has one lying around I have beer tokens waiting, or I have a brand new electric window switch in its box to swap

Any pointers or advice would be appreciated

TVR car parts had one last time I contacted them.

You can dismantle them and do a limited amount of surgery. Well, on the 400 you can, assuming they are the same?

Thanks Jeff will give them a call... had it apart cleaned the contacts etc worked fine for a couple of days then just runs in slow speed again.. seems they are rarer than sperm whale pooh!

Mine did that and as I never use the slow speed, its all or nothing. I just swaped the wires on the heater. Now only fast

Had same issue. Solution was to clean the connections, reconnected and to my surprise both speeds working again after over a year living with only slow available.

Mine had heated up and sunk the plastic post holding the rocker for the fast speed. I thought about swapping wires but then I worried about it heating and melting again. Think Wedg1e suggested a circuit breaker on another tread on the subject? Or was it a better relay and a cb? Memory fading.....needs sorting though.
