THE LOTUS SHOW WAS A GREAT TURNOUT!

This sunday as some of you may know was the last day of the International Motor Show. The Lotus Club of NY/NJ was there with their very own tent. I naturally volunteered as the enthusiast. 
We had a great turn out. So many people were intrigued by the gorgeous Lotus's. There was a Elise Type 49, I got to sit in it. Awesome car! I even got to see up close behind the ropes form inside the Elise coming to the U.S. One word: AMAZING. I have alot of pics I will post probably next week. I got to meet some very nice people, and sit in alot of Esprits! I was in Heaven! The owners were so nice. I was answering questions for people all day, I loved it! The usual questions to the normal public:
Who makes Lotus? Lotus Does
How much? this Esprit SE is going for $35,000 (their eyes widen)
How fast? In the 4's 0-60 (their eyes widen more)
Wheres the engine? In the back
Wheres the trunk, the spare is in the front? In the back?
But I thought the engine was in the back? It is
Mid-engine
What engine? This one is an inline 4, single turbo. (THATS IT!) Yup, thats it. That one over there is a V8
This is nice, what year is it a 2002? Nope, 1989 Esprit SE (WOW..again)

You were there too! I had to have met you. Which Color Esprit was yours? One of the Yellow ones? I was the guy who didnt own one, the 'aspiring enthusiast' so to speak
