I can kinda see what he was trying to achieve but its 'gone a bit Pete Tong'.

I particularly like the combination of orange wheels, red brake calipers and yellow gear stick... yikes

http://ucl.porsche.de/uk/ucl/clients.

No wonder he's selling after less than 4k miles..

hurl That is awful! How on earth did they let it come out of the factory like that? That will hang around for a while, surely. I'm colour blind, and even I can see that is very, very wrong.

Surprisingly, I don't hate it. It looks racy, and it's got a PSE and a short-shifter. He's kept his C4S badges so it passes my mortification test. Though I do hate the fact that despite the sporty bits, it's gay-wheel-drive and has adaptive sports seats. Saving a bit of weight obviously wasn't on the agenda.

I think it looks vomit on a lardy C4S

Could buy the real deal GT3 for not a lot more.

mixed feeling for me on this one. love the wheels and the gear stick but the skirts etc in orange is a bit OTT. if they were more subtle and in silver then i think your onto a winner.

but each to their own and best of luck if you buy it.

I recon a few Silver and Black cars are in for this treatment.

For my money it would have looked better leaving the skirts silver and having an Orange "Carrera" vinyl made up for each side.

Looking again it looks especially stupid how they've left the rear corners and splogged an Orange band under the number plate

respray the side skirts, front skirts, rear spoiler and rear lower part back to silver. keep the wheels, wing mirrors and rear badge in orange. I would add a porsche stript down the side where the skirts are orange at the moment and you have a unique 997.

Mmmmm lovely.

I wonder what the OPC bid was to buy it back.

Sucking of teeth noise: "Well, it's a bit of a acquired taste, sir."

what a waste, surely it would be better for the dealer to have it taken back to the way should than wait for some muppet to buy it like that?

I am sure they have £30k margin in the car as they know they will have to do exactly that, looks as nice as a VW Polo Harlequin hurl

My neighbour' Buell was this colour and
he had it resprayed matt black and just
has the logo in orange. Looks cool. On the
Porsche I don't like the rear orange bit or
the wing ends, the rest is ok though.

Its the door mirrors and spoiler ends that jar with me the most.

It's the kind of effect I seem to remember creating on dinky toys when I was about 7.

I can see it now.

"I'd like to trade this in."

"Fvck me ragged. Who sold you THAT! It's worth less than my tassled loafers."

"Er, you did actually, three months ago."
