Excellent sales and after sales/warranty work to date. However definitely reserving judgement on new service manager, the original, Rob, was on a different planet customer and product knowledge wise, but in fairness Joe (newbie) should be given a chance -although I don't appreciate paying 75% mark up on a set of plugs.
Engineers know their stuff too!
Anymore info please e-mail methumbup

They've got my Chim ATM and I mean to discuss with them their "dealer status" in the current light.

I hear £90 per hour labour though.

True or false?

I also know they charge £90 per corner for wheel refurbishment which is done by another company who only charge £50 per wheel. Kinda ties in with the mark up on spark plugs comment.

Everybody has to earn a living, and a lot depends on loyalty. Go and see what Ferrari charge Pheww.

And before anyone says they are not a Ferrari, they are not a ford either..

Every labourer is worth his penny but £90 per hour against other independents who charge nearer or less than half that?

Then there's their mark ups as already mentioned above.

In my book that's taking the p!ss. Why people pay it is a mystery.

They currently occupy a similar status to TVR Power in my humble opinion and experience. As Nervy says above, its strictly for email only!

Not had a good experience with them....a bit up and down...very happy...very dissapointed.....pleased with response....annoyed by some other things.

In comparison with Henley Heritage they don't rate as highly.....maybe just a personal style thing, or that they burnt my bridges with them at a very early stage in our TVR relationship. I put my faith in them and that was a mistake.

Happy to email a more detailed description...and I'm sure there are two sides to every story.

Castle have told me that despite not having a TVR factory to "back them up" they are in their opinion retaining their main dealer status. Their hourly rate is £75+vat.

£90 or even £75 plus VAT is alot compared to my local TVR indy who charges £37.50 all inc, both of the mechanics are knowledgeable, experienced and TVR factory trained, looks like I get a really good deal along with quality work.........
