Thats BS, that you've had to take it off. I'm waiting for a letter from the council myself no doubt it'll arrive at some point as to quote one of my villages elederly resident's I'm 'the scurge of the village with that obtrusive car'.
I guess if you want a queit life though its the thing to do, sorry to hear that mate.

Andy.

bear in mind it's my daily driver so they get it a few times a day as i work from home a lot, and now i work in a lap dancing bar at weekends it's at daft times too. it's not my immediate neighbours it's an old fart facing and accross two, he was shaking his head at me the other day so i let it cool down a bit and did a warm start to encourage bangs and flames for a last finale. you should have seen his face......unfortunately i didn't realise the guy stood in his garden was the noise abatement officer.....bugger

jon for the love of GOD, PLEASE just get them to fit butterfly flaps in the system.
Dan's GT2 has a switch inside so you can route it just through one pipe as well for less noise.

Why the hell should you take it off, fk them, its your car !

With folk like that about I would move house.
A few years ago when we moved into a new home the neighbours looked in horror as at that time 2 noisy cars and 2 motorbikes arrived during the day one asked do your friends visit often? yes i replied they will be along later

hehe

Its not like your sitting there rebuilding the thing on the front lawn and revving the engine for 6 hours.

Everytime their dogs bark, send a complaint.

I can't stand people who complain about things like that, narrow minded eejits

If that were me I'd make the thing louder - scr*w them.

Why not call a PH party? Everyone turn up with their cars and show them how bad it could be?

The cars up for sale anyway as the R8 arrives in May (fingers crossed) so it needed to come off anyway. tubi don't offer butterfly valves onthe Ramore.

You need neighbours like mine... The oldies are deaf and everyone else has kids which scream their heads off in the street all the time, so noone would be in a position to complain if I had a noisy car... which I don't... yet hehe

I have just gone loud myself and am a little concerned about the neighbours!

It is a shame you are having to downgrade because of someone's petty envy and I bet they drive something from the pacific rim!

It's disappointing you live next to such boring curmudgeons.

My neighbours take great interest (in a positive way) in whatever cars I have at the moment.
