i will fight you both for the keys, and pay 75% of the fuel costs.

What the hell, I'll pay all the fuel costs, it would be worth it for a trip like that.
I drove to Naples last year and the journey was fabulous.

I notice the owner of the car has yet to indicate any acceptance of our plans!!

Well somewhere in London I reckon, so the victor (that would be me!!) can take the spoils (that would be a shiny red 360 with Tubi) as soon as possible after winning

Hey we've just offered to get his car to Italy for him for free and with less danger than sticking it on a train, he should be thanking us!!!

You two can fight it out over the other places, I'm reserving the driving seat as I appear to by paying for the fuel!!

i think you can catch a train from one of the ferry terminals in northern france, (sorry, cant remember which one), down to nice. nice to maranello is an afternoons drive.
head towards Genova on the A10, then take the S45 towards Piacenza, then get on the A1 heading south. exit Modena Sud for Maranello.

the only problem is, im not sure if these car trains through france are seasonal or not?

thanks frazer only problem is which ferry terminal :s

You're welcome to drive it back, I'll even pay for my own flight home - in fact...... idea
howzabout....

you buy a return plane ticket and fly out, whilst I drive your car, I'll pick you up at the airport, and then use your return ticket to fly home. Job done, now what were the dates again!!
