After about 10 solid months of building my car it has now passed it's SVA. Now I have to go through the hard part, the red tape of the DVLA.

Read all about it in www.r1ot.com

That's looking good! You do realise that orange ones are faster, though?

Well done mate, feels good don't it? yes
I had a ton of grief with my SVA but registering was a breeze, only took 15 minutes. My advice would be to take every shred of paperwork that you have pertaining to the car and some that doesn't + some money. You will be fine thumbup

As Wayne said but without explaining why, take cash with you to the DVLA office. If you hand over a cheque they will have to wait for it to clear and post your papers to you. With cash in hand many offices will hand over your tax disc which is all you need to be on the road. The log book will turn up in the post a couple of days later when the computer spits it out.

Great news Rich,

No MOT required according to Shrewsbury DVLA.

And Yellow is definitely the right colour.

Martin.

You don't need an MOT.
Once the car is registered your done.
If you needed an MOT you would not be able to register without it.
