pah, I'd rather have a Bently Continental GT and be able to run it for £600 pa.

Or a Fezza 360...

1973 eh?

Not sure about tax exemption but those early 70's cars look awfully nice and could also be tax exempt.

I wonder if buying a regular 2.7 from '72 and stripping it out to make a replica would be an idea? Such a lightweight and nimble car would be a blast up mountain passes and in the twisties

I think it's the same car that's in the latest 911 & PW, which has an article on it. Price mentioned by Lee Maxted-Page for an M471 car like this is £165,000 and rising: presumably whatever he can get for it above that price.

I checked the number plate - it's that same car. Interesting article.

This looks a bit like the Gregor Fisken one at last year's Silverstone Classic.

IIRC, good racing history, genuine example, but quite a few non-original bits (but in keeping).

£175k, I think, which is expensive, but the going rate for a really good M471, that is eligible for the top events.

There was an almost identical RS LWT at Castle Combe last Friday. Yellow with dark green decals and wheel details. Owner had just acquired it for £165K. Looked way better than the Enzo parked next to it (which was also his! - hmmm where did I go wrong in my career?) Too loud for the 100db limit on the day, but what a noise when he started it up...cloud9
