Colour

Decided to clean up some rough areas of paintwork along the Boot edge, actually it was Nail Varnish covering scratches, and have had to get through the colour to get the right finish, problem is I havent a clue as to what colour my car is other than its blue and I need to do a bit of spraying. Anyone any suggestions as to where I start??? does Atlantica Blue from Ford ring a bell?????

The plate inside the bonnet should have the colour on it. When I had "chips away" to touch up some scratches he matched the paint exactly from the number

Cant find anything relating to the colour on the plate????????? only eng no, chassis no and info re lubricants and hydraulic fluid.
Whereabouts is yours ,is it on a seperate plate??
Had a look in the local spares shop and there are 2 similar colours, Harbour Blue and Pacific Blue but the caps are a bit faded so I dont want to risk spraying it on.Out of interest,I found an Atlantica Blue for a Honda and its miles off colour.

Your S looks like the same colour as my 1988 S1 i had back in the late 80's.
When i asked for a Touch UP Pencil back then ,The Dealer said it was Midnight
Blue Met.(Vauxhall).Hope this helps .
