everything gone loopy

i had been using my car,,but while jus ticking over my speedo was reading 80 mph, until i switched off and on again, now when i try to start my car,,the lights come on, indicators, window wipers, and alarm,,and have to take the battery terminal off to turn it all off as the ignition dont work,,any ideas,,,please help

Sounds like a ground issue. Check the ground wires as detailed in the bible.
