Just got home from collecting her.

The Roush exhaust certainly does what it says on the tin. Its far far far freer revving from the 4k rpm mark, its as if I have just had a rev-liniter lifted, it feels so much more free flowing and airy. Lovely. You forget where the red-line is as you no longer feel the power delivery drop off, it just pulls and pulls in every gear untill silly speed is reached.

I have just been hit with a collossal bill for the system, 18k service and a good few mods, but Gary at Crazyhorses seems to have done the usual exemplary job for me, and at a good £/hour.

The car was put on the dyno, but found to have a serious fueling problem dispite having had the M400 pump and loom change. The AFR is dropping off massivly at 4k rpm and we couldn't work out why.

I'm hoping to be able to meet Trevor there next week to get things sussed and hopefully crack the 390bhp mark.

I can certainly reccomend the Roush exhaust like everyone else does. Its a very expensive mod, but I thin k it will be worth it once we've fixed my fuel problems.

Steady as she goes, matey.
If you have a 'serious' fueling issue at same revs as you're generating max power you could well end up damaging engine...

Be careful Greg

Remember, mine blew up because of a fuel problem, that was pre-exhaust but the damage was already done.

Keep off the revs till Trevor finds the problem.

Greg, did you measure the pressure on the fuel rail whilst it was running on the rollers? Mine had an overfuelling problem that was traced to above spec pressure on the rail. I think they're supposed to be 3bar and mine was running nearly 4bar or something like that. Anyway, Trevor sorted it out.

I generally run all my proper cars on a rolling dyno once a year just to check up things like this. Even did the CSL a couple of weeks after I got it just to be sure.

Hope you get it sorted this week. You've got a very important date on Friday!!

Didn't really have time to test it. I hope the Mr Jasper has a slot this week or I may not make it on Friday.

I got through half a tank of fuel on the way home, I thinkit was slurping it up at something crazy like 8 mpgs!!

Nice pics Martin btw.

Really want to go for a drive now, but I best not I guess.
