RS Questions...???

Hi Guys, I've found a 996 RS which ticks all my boxes its:
an 04 Car
blue and white
14,000
Full roll cage
Ceramic brakes
White center console
a very clean car

The only thing is that it hasn't got Sat Nav that I can live without
or Air Con that I'm not sure that I can live without.

Is air con a must in a RS.

Please help I can't sleep.

Just tell yourself aircon adds weight. And if Porsche can see fit to swap the badge on the front from enamel to a sticker, you can live without aircon.

It's a nice extra and doesn't add weight much... although granted it is not very purist now is it.

Let's face it having aircon would put off less people than not having... although tbh I would prefer a non-aircon car.

Took my RS round Bedford today, not a hot day but was still nice to have a/c!

Just wait till summer!

only a hand full of RSs with out air con. i saw a blue decaled one with out a/c at opc stratford this friday. white wheels corbon lettered number plates, anyone here?

Go into that with your eyes wide open!
Just expect to have major hassle selling it.
Camtune had an RS wthout climate for months and months.
I bet if u ring around the dealers none of them will offer a price for it without climate.
I wouldnt buy one without climate.

Dont think you can even get Satnav on an RS.
Never seen one with it advertised.
So dont worry about that

Anyone who has owned a GT3 RS would say A/C is a must have, unless they are trying to sell an RS that doesn't have A/C.

Think these guys are right,a/c is a very useable extra on track days,trouble is my Motec turns it off over 90% throttle so it aint much good anyway till the end of a lap,I bet the Porsche does the same.
If you can negotiate a good price then go for it, but will you have a chip on your shoulder while you own it woorying about sale time ?
Iam already worried about not ordering the sat nav in my 997 RS, personaly I dont think it should have it but everyone seems to want it.I know its my car but if I want to sell it on I dont want to be punished.
