Radio interference
Discussion
Do cars, young and old, have a widget in them which stops the cars electrical systems from interfering with the radio. If so, could a kind person please tell me what is it called, how it works (i dont mean the first principles but if I purchased one where I would put it type details) and anything else which may be relevant to someone who wants his radio to work better due to a possibly faulty/non existant widget.
Any electric motor will generate electrical interference, so you can get damping capacitors from any motoring sapres shop and they are fitted to things like the fuel pump, the alternator etc,.
Generally they are known as suppressors and are a doddle to fit
also resistive spark plugs help quite a bit
