After lurking on here for what seems an eternity i have finally bought my first TVR, 1994 L plate Chimaera 400 in metalic red (sorry dont know the official name for this colour) with grey interior, 57000 miles and good history 12 months mot (many thanks jason/chris) i was gutted at not being able to borrow a trailer this weekend to get her home!!! and had to drive her the 250 miles back home, the journey was a scream, quite happy to "tootle" along the motorway at 70,but by christ do these things shift when needed (as you lot are well aware) and being fairly sedate with the loud pedal i didn't find it as heavy on go juice as i thought it was gonna be, lots of looks from passers by, just like i used to do!! that v8 soundtrack is even better from behind the wheel. Not sure how to post pictures on here but as soon as i do you'll be the first to know, TTFN

Welcome to you both wavey

A wise choice indeed. You'll find yourself grinning from ear to ear so much that your face will hurt.

Don't forget to add some photos of your pride and joy so we can all admire it. thumbup

Hope to see you at one of the meets,

I too have just purchased my first TVR. Picking it up next week and I can't wait!!!

When and where is the next TVR meet?

Am looking forward to that V8 sound track, have spent the last ten years admiring it so will be great to be able to have my own!!

I bought a Cooper Green metallic one will Cream interior. 97 P with 46k on it and a full history! Its just been serviced too so hopefully won't need any immediate attention!!!

Although not in Herts, Offords won't be that far away in Godmanchester. I live in Bishop's Stortford it was only 40 min pootle up the M11. Seemed very professional and indeed friendly.
