Having sourced a windscreen for my 1990 S2 and traveled 400 miles round trip to collect today, I am delighted to announce that I've just smashed the f***in' thing and I'm probably the most dissapointed person in Britain at the moment...gutted. Waste of money, time and now I've got to start looking all over again - AAaaaaaarrgggghhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah the joys of ownership - Sorry to hear of your troubles - isn't there an easier way to source a windscreen?

Yes there is, I can get one from Autowindscreens for £250 plus VAT but this one was only £60 so was a good deal, and hence worth the trip!! Not to worry, un Stella Artoir should ease the pain.

Claim on insurance?? If it is only delaminating around the edges - be very careful. A big stone is going to smash it one day later this week. And only an excess to pay - £50 perhaps..........
