Well, picked her up Saturday lunchtime from Fernhurst TVR complete with a full valet, oil service and tank of petrol, and found a nice little present in the boot of a leven hood cover. Thought I would give a little update!

My god! what a thrill. After picking up P994 LLN at 12 midday, I spent the next 9 hours driving around grinning like the cat from Cheshire
The power is like nothing else I have ever driven. OK it is only a 4l, but for me, at the moment, this is more than enough. Hit the loud pedal and the smiles keep coming.

Sunday afternoon up a long stretch of the A30 (empty) I built up the courage and booted it. Everything was at warp speed, the power just kept coming and coming and coming.

Pure and simply, I love this car. Took me 17 years to get it and I am enjoying it. It's great, the power the noise the looks, what more can I say? Last night, as it was raining and I am not yet confident in the dry! I spent 45 minutes going over the inside looking for leaks.

Plus points:
People look, people stare! I have had people point, people asking me to rev it at lights, or just want to look at it. What a car!
It's mine
The noise

Minus points:
Seem to attract a hell of a lot more tailgaters, or maybe it's just me?
People overtaking dangerously, just because, a guy in a Porsche very nearly stacked it into the traffic in front of me whilst over taking (not having a go at Porsche drivers per se, just this one)

Smiling like never before....
Mike
