History for my car??

Wonder if anyone has seen, owned or heard of my S2 before I got it. G821 BLK (now D9UGY) came into my ownership in June 02 and seems to have had 8 previous owners, 3 of which were in the first 5 months of 2002!!! (weird) Anyway as I bought the car with no history I just wondered if anyone new of it. (Mica blue, May 1990.)
I have sent away to DVLA and got copies of all the original V5's which is good, so now have a list of old owners but no other history like MOT's or services.
If this rings any bells I would love to hear any tales, or meetings.
