Not if you are using the VGA cable but if using composite it does. Not sure about component.

Is it component or VGA?

If it is VGA then I couldn't get it to work, if it is component then I don't know.

Forza will happily play at 720p - it even says so on the box.

Sadly it plays like shit on the 360 - it's ok if you're the only car on the screen, but when it has to render more than one the framerate falls away to nothing.

There is a simple solution though:

Buy a cheapo used Xbox, and turn it into a media center that also plays Forza.

You can buy a component cable for the Xbox 1 and if you've chipped it you can enable 720P on that.

My 360 is set to 1080p with component cables at the moment, all that forza needs is to run at 50Hz on the TV, my one does it by auto.

You don't have to chip an Xbox to make it do component - you just set in the dashboard.

had a look over lunch, thoughts so far:

As expected, graphics are last generation - though you get used to them quick, but it reminds you how good 360 graphics actually are!

Gameplay seems very much like GT, no bad thing, i think i could get into this game very quickly!

Is your 360 set for 50Hz? I know it doesn't matter if you're using the VGA cable, but the demo of Hitman didn't work for me, because it was demanding 60Hz. Plugged back in with the composite leads, changed the setting, plugged back the VGA cable and it worked a treat.

Might be irrelevant, just thought it's worth a try.

right, after playing it a bit more.

Graphics, yup, last generation, but you get used to it real quick.

Dynamics, nice, a real balancing act in the cars, a big difference between their handling.

Damage, yup, you can damage your car, and it comes out of your winnings, damage it too much and it effects the handling. Could get annoying, but a nice touch.

Car selection, not bad, still early days, modification nice, and it seems to have an effect too!

overtaking, sometimes easy, sometimes very difficult, certainly 'GT' style rather than arcadey.

Downsides - even though my disc is perfect, it refuses to load one track saying the disc is dirty or damaged, and it crashed for the first time today.

All in all, well worth the 2 quid i paid for it, and i will certainly be buying 2 when it comes along..

What he said, although i have had no problems loading any tracks.

I brought this for the XBOX first time around then lost it after I sold the XBOX so I had to buy it again fro a Massive £5. Well worth it.

Nah, i dunno, the disc looks fine, but a couple of tracks just wont load... shame but I suppose 2 is out in a month, so im not that bothered about completing this one.

Just brought this for a massive 50p on the bay of E. Do a lot other people have a problem with the Xbox not playing games? My copy of Halo has a few hairline marks, yet the system simply refuses to load the last level; it just comes up with disc error
