Clio 172 reliability?

Looking to get some bargain hot hatch fun, these are very cheap at the moment.

I know they go through exhausts and have expensive cam-bet changes.

Anything else expensive to worry about?

Exhaust is the most common thing to drop off!

They'll all have annoying rattles and you might get caught by some suspect electronics, but on the whole they are solid little cars and can take quite a lot of abuse.

I owned a 172 for a couple of years and never had one problem with it!! Found it to be very reliable...
