Well, we're just back from what I think will be our last weekend away in the Noble. It's quite simply been the best car I've owned, but the time has come to say goodbye. So, before I do anything formally, I thought I'd drop a note here.

Suzie is now 7 months pregnant, and however much I try and persuade myself otherwise, the Noble is just not going to cut the mustard as a 'family' car! I could keep it as the weekend toy, but I've a sneaking suspicion there's not going to be much spare time for a good few months (or is that 18yrs!).

For those of you that came to the Harpenden 'swimathon', I was parked in the top corner next to Ash. Brief spec below, but PM if you need to know more. Not thought carefully about price, but open to suggestions (I know you're a fair bunch!).

Finally - Obes - how you getting on with that RS4?
Cheers,
Dave.
btw - West London.

it's brilliant mate, even if it does have a significant penchant for petrol !

Sorry to hear this David...but I can totally relate to your situation. Funny thing is I'm at an almost identical stage, in the family situation, to you and our M400s have almost the same milleage.

The RS4 does look like a very good replacement. What about an M5?

What is the problem with being a 2 car family? I don't have any (small) kids and we've got 3!

Nothing at all, and in fact we've got 3 right now if include the Mini7. Reality is though we tend to use the Noble as the weekend fun car, but with an extra (albeit small!) person to transport, I just can't see many opportunities. Can't even make Le Mans this year either, so no point keeping it for that!
Dave.

Mmm, never really been a bimmer fan, but it is an awesome bit of kit.
