exhaust heat shield

Hi Folks, Took of my rear defuser last Sunday to give silencers a nice polish and to have a look at the heat shield grill that sits agaist the body work in front of the silencers.

The heat shield can be seen from the rear of the car and looks unsightly as it's quite corroded, i was looking the replace or clean it up and spray it.

I have made a couple of calls to find a replacment but no joy.

Anybody know where this can be obtained from? before i have to rub down and spray.

You can buy it off the shelf at Merlin Motorsport I think give them a ring. You will need to shape and bend it though. Why not just spray it with VHT paint.

Think i will just rub it down and spray it, i just thought if it was easy to get in the correct shape it would be easy to just remove and replace.
