Hi

Can anyone tell me where I can buy a hardtop for my Streetka at a reasonable price. I have been searching the net but have come up with nothing.

Regards
Keely

I've always thought they're more hastle than they're worth those removable hardtops for any convertible, not just the Streetka... Why have a convertible? This time of year you get some lovely days when at the drop of a hat it'd be nice to whip the top down. Also when you do take it off you need to find quite a chunk of space to store it.

They're a big chunk of cash too if anything like the MX-5 hardtops I used to sell when I worked for Mazda.

Welcome to PH by the way wavey

Paul.

Hi thanks for replying.

To be honest the reason I was trying to purchase one is because I've been told that the soft top can get discoloured , especially in the winter when the weather is bad.

If that's the reason the only reason, I'd definitely leave it. It'll take several years to discolour to a significant degree, and if it's really a problem it'd be cheaper to replace it that get a hardtop anyway. Best thing is to clean it regularly and it'll be fine.
